Annapolis, MD (May 11, 2010) – Delegate Brian J. Feldman, Chair of the Montgomery County House Delegation, filed his candidacy papers yesterday, officially launching his re-election bid for a 3rd term in the Maryland House of Delegates representing the 15th Legislative District.

In addition to serving as Chair of the Montgomery County House Delegation, Feldman also serves as Chair of the House Subcommittee on Banking, Economic Development, Science and Technology and House Chair of the Joint Committee on Information Technology and Biotechnology.

Prior to being elected in 2002, Delegate Feldman, both an Attorney and CPA, was a senior trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice where he was a three-time recipient of the Justice Department’s Outstanding Attorney Award. When the General Assembly is not in Session, Feldman works as an attorney in private practice and an adjunct professor at The Johns Hopkins University where he teaches graduate courses on federalism and state policymaking.

Delegate Feldman and his wife, Janice, have two children who both attend Montgomery County public schools.
