WTOP is reporting the following:
A source close to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Baltimore tells WTOP the investigation is linked to a developer who sought to involve Johnson in a land deal at the Greenbelt Metro station.
The investigation is also linked to the transfer of a residential property involving Johnson, the source says.
This information seems connected to a story run by the Post in October 2008. The FBI conducted a series of raids against a former County Council Member, a fire department official and a developer. Two sets of documents seized in the raids contained these labels:
