Casey Anderson Joins Rodgers Consulting

Firm Moves to Cement Reputation for Innovative Ideas

ROCKVILLE, MD – Casey Anderson, who led the most sweeping overhaul to Montgomery County’s land use and transportation plans in more than half a century as chair of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, is joining Rodgers Consulting, a purpose-driven land development consulting and design firm.

“Casey’s record of innovation is well-known throughout the region, and we’re excited to put his creative energy to work generating ideas that will help our clients and the region prepare for the future,” explained Matt Wessel, Rodgers Consulting’s Senior Director of Knowledge.

Anderson said he is looking forward to working on many of the issues he tackled as chair of the Montgomery Planning Board, including land use planning and regulation, and state and local housing policy, with the Rodgers team.

“I have known the people at Rodgers for many years and have long admired the depth of their experience, the values they bring to their work, and their relentless focus on the future,” Anderson said. “Rodgers knows that even the most successful firm – or region – needs to embrace new approaches to succeed.”

Rodgers Consulting, Inc. is dedicated to creating thriving communities by providing proactive leadership and responsible land use consulting. Rodgers is always seeking and leveraging knowledge to anticipate future changes and responsibly solve complex land use issues for clients and communities.

Wessel said Anderson will be helping Rodgers and its clients take full advantage of the deep and diverse base of knowledge within the firm, whose employees have unparalleled experience with land use policy and real estate development projects in Maryland’s suburban counties.
