Geoffrey Grammer, a psychiatrist and veteran who has been running as a Democrat in Congressional District 6, has ended his campaign today. He has endorsed fellow Democrat April McClain Delaney. This follows the withdrawal of former Obama administration official Joel Rubin, who also endorsed Delaney. Through 12/31/23, Grammer self-financed $439,689 out of a total $511,731 raised.
Grammer announced his decision on X. His post is embedded below.
With deep reflection, I am announcing my decision to suspend my campaign and withdraw from the race for Maryland’s 6th congressional district.
Furthermore, I am proudly endorsing @April4Congress for U.S. Congress. pic.twitter.com/JmexWKtWFl
