Many charges have been traded between the campaigns of Congressional District 6 candidates April McClain Delaney (D) and Neil Parrott (R) regarding their confrontation at a Sunday night forum.  I have written about many campaigns and volunteered or worked in a few of them, so the only unusual thing about this particular bout of testiness is that it occurred in public.  Normally, candidates keep their grumbling to their families and staff and smile at opponents on stage like they are good friends.  (Surprise: they’re not!)

The League of Women Voters of Frederick County, which hosted the event, has posted a YouTube video of the entire forum.  The fracas at hand started during Parrott’s closing statement at 1:12:37.  Watch the embedded video below and you can decide yourself on who did what – and whether it matters to you as you cast your vote.
