Federal employees are under tremendous pressure with Elon Musk’s minions roaming their halls and a nihilist president asking for their resignations. But in the midst of devastation, opportunity sometimes awaits. And Attorney General Anthony Brown is now offering federal attorneys a golden opportunity. His message: come work for me!
In a post on X earlier today, Brown is encouraging federal attorneys to apply for positions at the state’s Office of the Attorney General (OAG). The OAG has an $80 million budget (which might increase to $90 million next year) and more than 400 positions. Its scope of work is vast. Brown himself is a seasoned veteran of Maryland politics who was recently in Congress. At the moment, he is focused on the many disruptions in the federal government and just filed suit against the Trump administration to stop cuts in medical research funding. No wonder he is seeking federal attorneys!
