JEREMIAH POPE OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL AT-LARGE

[Silver Spring, Maryland] Today, public servant, community advocate, and small business owner, Jeremiah Pope, officially announced his campaign for Montgomery County Council AtLarge.

Through prayer, the loving support of his wife, son, and community, he has decided to run for one of the Montgomery County Council At-Large seats in the 2026 Democratic Primary.

“Montgomery County is at a crossroads. We need common sense leadership, that is going to address the housing affordability crisis, improve our public education, and support our community and police officers to reduce crime. It’s time to Reset, Renew, and Rebuild Montgomery County, back to a community we can all be proud of” he said.

Jeremiah Pope has been a resident of Montgomery County, Maryland for nearly twenty years, he has lived, worked, and served our community and believes he can continue to better serve us as a member of the County Council.
