The Congressional District 6 contest between Democrat April McClain Delaney and Republican Neil Parrott could not be closer. An August poll of 400 likely voters by Public Opinion Strategies placed Delaney at 42% and Parrott at 40%. A poll of 317 registered voters later that month by Gonzales Research placed Parrott at 41% and Delaney at 39%. Both poll results were within the margin of error. The seat will be one of a handful that will determine control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Against this backdrop, the Maryland Democratic Party has sent an attack mailer brutally targeting Parrott which is shown below. Feast your eyes, folks, as voters in the 6th District are likely to see a lot more comms like this one from both sides.
