Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 35, which represents county police officers, has endorsed Council Member Andrew Friedson for county executive.  The union also endorsed incumbent Council Members Marilyn Balcombe (District 2), Kate Stewart (District 4) and Dawn Luedtke (District 7), who are running for reelection.

Previously, the union endorsed non-incumbents Scott Goldberg, Jim McNulty and Karla Silvestre (At-Large), Julie Yang (District 1) and Jud Ashman (District 3) for council.  The union endorsed Wil Milam, who is running for sheriff against incumbent Max Uy, months ago.

At this time, the union has not endorsed in District 5 (where incumbent Kristin Mink is running for reelection), District 6 (where incumbent Natali Fani-Gonzalez is running for reelection) or for the fourth seat in the at-large race.  Incumbent Laurie-Anne Sayles and County Executive Marc Elrich are running in the latter field.
