The Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS (GCAAR) has launched an advocacy campaign to oppose the tax increases now under consideration at the county council.  They oppose both the property and income tax rate increases proposed by County Executive Marc Elrich as well as the abolition of the $692 Income Tax Offset Credit received by homeowners that has earned the support of a council majority.  The campaign includes radio and digital ads, two mailers and a website alerting residents to the tax increases.
