The Congressional District 6 primary is turning nasty, with Delegate Joe Vogel attacking April McClain Delaney in a video, an outside group joining in with an attack mailer and Delaney accusing Vogel of “spreading lies” in a mailer of her own. The stakes are high as an internal poll released by Vogel shows the race within the margin of error. Now Vogel has upped the ante with a new website laying out the case against Delaney.
The website, using the URL https://www.md06facts.com/, promotes Vogel twice and hits Delaney four times – with hyperlinks to prove its points. I asked Delaney’s campaign about this site, and their spokeswoman replied, “Joe Vogel is insisting on running a negative campaign. We’re going to continue to fight MAGA Republicans and protect choice.”
This website could be taken down at any time, so let the screenshots below memorialize its contents for posterity. Note the authority line in the final shot establishing its origin with the Vogel campaign.
