Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 35 and International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1664, two county unions who have endorsed Council Member Andrew Friedson for county executive, have sent out a tough new mailer supporting their endorsee and attacking his rivals (fellow Council Members Evan Glass and Will Jawando). The mailer specifically calls out a six-year old tweet in which Jawando described a traffic stop and commented #DefundThePolice. The mailer appears below.
